Method is gearing up for what may well be their last bout of touring, for the foreseeable future.
It’s been 25 years since their first gig at The Woodstack Café in Katoomba and while the duo’s two members now live at opposite end of the state, they have maintained a continued, if somewhat sporadic, schedule of tours and album releases.
But the tyranny of distance and the juggling act of negotiating other touring commitments, solo careers and families have taken their toll and the band has decided to cool their heels for a while and see how the dust settles.
The coming months will see them returning to some of their favorite stomping grounds for potentially the last time, with a southern run through Katoomba, Newcastle and Maitland scheduled for May 31 – June 2; and a run through Northern Rivers NSW and SE Queensland locked in for July 5 – 8.
